Who Are You?
I am David Wagner, a reporter for KPBS News in San Diego. Basically, I tell true stories about science and technology for radio and TV.
Through my reporting, I’ve found out how to control someone’s sprinkler system just by searching the Internet. I’ve heard what it’s like to suffer from a little-understood condition that makes the sound of chewing unbearable. And I’ve learned that Death Valley’s famous all-time heat record is probably very bogus.
Before landing at KPBS, I wrote for The San Francisco Chronicle, The Atlantic Wire, and NPR.org. And now I write for myself, right here on this very site. Around these parts, you’ll also find links to my latest work at KPBS, some of my older clips, and ways to get in touch with me. I hope you’ll stick around for awhile.
